Moon Ga-young Delights Fans at First Asia Fan Meeting in Seoul

Actress Moon Ga-young has successfully launched her first-ever Asia fan meeting tour, creating a dreamlike day with her fans in Seoul.

The fan meeting, titled ‘2025 MUN KA YOUNG ASIA FANMEETING [Dreamy day] IN SEOUL,’ took place on the 13th at the Soar Art Hall in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

Opening the event with the pop song ‘Like a Star’ under a cosmic-themed stage setting, Moon Ga-young shared intimate details about her daily life and personal tastes through a keyword talk session. She engaged fans by revealing unreleased photos from her phone and discussing her preferences in books and music.

The event also included a segment where she shared behind-the-scenes stories and exclusive photos from her recently concluded drama, ‘Seocho-dong,’ reminiscing about the project with her audience.

A special interactive corner allowed fans to participate actively. Moon Ga-young discussed fashion with attendees who embraced her suggested dress code and took commemorative photos together. She added a stylish touch by coordinating her shoes with the dress code colors.

In the second half, Moon Ga-young took on the role of MC herself, hosting the ‘Tell Me Dream’ corner where she answered fans’ stories and questions in real-time via an open chatroom, offering a unique experience for everyone present. The lively atmosphere was further amplified by fun programs like an OX quiz, filling the venue with laughter and cheers.

Adding to the emotional depth, Moon Ga-young delivered captivating live performances, singing Baek Yerin’s ‘Square’ and Taeyeon’s ‘If I Love You’ (original title: ‘그대라는 시’). Her clear, melodious voice, imbued with profound emotion, deeply moved the audience.

Concluding the event, Moon Ga-young revealed an alternative meaning behind the fan meeting’s title, ‘Dreamy Day,’ as ‘Dear My Day.’ This heartfelt message expressed her gratitude to fans for making her days special and her wish to continue creating such moments together.

After a memorable 150-minute event filled with fan appreciation, Moon Ga-young expressed, “I gained so much energy meeting my fans after a long time. I’ll make sure to create more opportunities for us to connect.”

Following the successful Seoul event, Moon Ga-young will continue her fan meeting tour in major Asian cities including Osaka and Bangkok. She is also set to host Mnet’s global band-making survival show ‘STEAL HEART CLUB,’ premiering this October.

Moon Ga-young debuted in 2006 with the MBC drama 'A Love to Kill'. She honed her acting skills through various roles since her debut as a child actress. Her popularity surged internationally after starring in the 2020 tvN drama 'True Beauty'. She is also known for her fluency in German, having majored in the language at university.
