Actor Sung-hoon has captured attention on MBC's variety show 'Please Rest Well' by showcasing his survival skills and hearty appetite while hunting for food on a deserted island.

Joining Choi Kang-hee, Park Joon-hyung, and Yang Chi-seung, Sung-hoon embarked on a mission to gather ingredients for guests. He displayed impressive 'diver' capabilities, spending nearly 40 minutes underwater to catch conch, abalone, and sea squirts using only his sense of touch. He also battled and subdued a large octopus in the deep sea.

Sung-hoon further demonstrated his commitment by herding fish into a 150-meter net. Upon catching a haul of seasonal autumn croakers, he indulged in raw and grilled preparations, fully embracing his 'eating god' persona.

However, this display has evoked mixed reactions from viewers, recalling a past controversy. Sung-hoon faced criticism for perceived unhygienic eating habits during his appearance on tvN's 'Line Breaking Restaurants,' where he was seen wiping sweat and picking at food with tongs. He had previously apologized for making viewers uncomfortable.

Despite the lingering 'Sung-hoon sweat' association in search queries, his performance on the island highlighted both his resourcefulness and his undeniable passion for food.

Prior to his acting career, Sung-hoon was a promising swimmer. His exceptional aquatic abilities have frequently been a highlight on various entertainment shows, bringing joy to viewers. He consistently demonstrates remarkable talent in activities related to water.
