
Lee Young-ae to Showcase First Action Role in 'A Good Day for Eun-soo'
Actress Lee Young-ae is set to take on her first-ever action role in the upcoming KBS2 weekend drama ‘A Good Day for Eun-soo’.
During the production presentation held on the afternoon of the 16th at The Saint in Shindorim, Guro-gu, Seoul, Lee Young-ae expressed her anticipation for the action sequences.
In the drama, Lee Young-ae plays Kang Eun-soo, an ordinary housewife who gets entangled in a drug-related incident, stepping into a forbidden world to protect her family.
"I have action scenes with actors Park Yong-woo and Kim Young-kwang," Lee revealed. "Although we have stunt doubles, I practiced a lot on set and personally worked hard on strength training."
She added, "I consistently exercised at home and strived with the stunt doubles to create the best possible scenes. I researched with the director to present strong and cool action, endeavoring to express Eun-soo's deepening emotions through movement."
‘A Good Day for Eun-soo’ is scheduled to premiere on the 20th at 9:20 PM.
Lee Young-ae debuted in 1990 through a commercial and has built a career spanning over three decades. She rose to Hallyu stardom with the drama 'Dae Jang Geum' and showcased a dramatic transformation in the film 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance'. Beyond her acting career, Lee Young-ae consistently serves as an inspiration through her charitable acts.
