SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama 'The Scum: Killer's Outing' (hereafter 'The Scum') is set to unveil a nail-biting confrontation between Ko Hyun-jung and Kim Bo-ra.

In the fifth episode airing today (the 19th), the narrative will pick up after serial killer Jung Yi-shin (Ko Hyun-jung), also known as 'The Scum,' escapes from her confinement facility and appears before her daughter-in-law, Lee Jung-yeon (Kim Bo-ra).

Previously, Jung Yi-shin's son, Cha Soo-yeol (Jang Dong-yoon), had lived in denial of his bloodline, marrying Lee Jung-yeon while erasing all traces of his past, especially anything related to his mother. Lee Jung-yeon had believed Jung Yi-shin to be dead all along. The sudden appearance of Jung Yi-shin shatters this reality.
