Actress Do Young-seo is receiving rave reviews for her portrayal of teenage Ryu Eun-jung in the Netflix series 'Seo Bok and Sang-yeon'.

Released on the 12th, 'Seo Bok and Sang-yeon' delves into the complex and multifaceted relationship between two friends, Ryu Eun-jung (played by Kim Go-eun) and Cheon Sang-yeon (played by Park Ji-hyun), throughout their lives.

In her role as the young Eun-jung, Do Young-seo delicately captured the nascent stages of her character's intricate emotions. She skillfully depicted the subtle feelings of rivalry, jealousy, and admiration that Eun-jung experiences after her first encounter with Cheon Sang-yeon (played by Park Seo-kyung), stemming from her insecurities due to a difficult family background and her father's absence.

Particularly in a scene where she receives comfort from teacher Yoon Hyun-sook (played by Seo Jung-yeon), Do Young-seo's portrayal of sorrow, triggered by her father's absence, was expressed through falling tears. This performance earned her praise for having 'delicate emotional expression comparable to adult actors'.

Furthermore, Do Young-seo naturally conveyed the quirky yet charming aspects of a teenage girl and the tender emotions of first love towards her crush, an older brother, showcasing a wide acting spectrum.

Following her roles this year in 'My Star Like a Golden Child' and 'Seo Bok and Sang-yeon', with the upcoming film 'Meeting House' set to premiere on October 15th, Do Young-seo is consistently proving her potential as a rising actress through her active career.
