Song Seung-heon Bids Final Farewell to His Mother
Actor Song Seung-heon said his final goodbye to his mother, Moon Myung-ok, today (23rd).
The funeral service took place at 9:30 AM at the Samsung Seoul Hospital Funeral Hall. Many offered their condolences as the late Moon, who passed away at the age of 77, began her eternal journey.
Previously, his agency King Kong by Starship stated, "All funeral procedures related to Song Seung-heon's mother's passing will be conducted privately. We ask for your warm comfort for Song Seung-heon and his family."
Deeply saddened by the sudden news, Song Seung-heon has canceled his scheduled interviews. Despite his current ENA drama 'My Star, Geum-jok' achieving record-high ratings daily, his post-finale interview, initially planned for the 25th, had to be unavoidably postponed.
This decision reflects Song Seung-heon's profound affection for his parents. In the past, he shared photos from his parents' younger days on Parents' Day, expressing his happiness as their son and wishing them long, healthy lives. He particularly cherished his mother, calling her 'more beautiful than my father'.
Song Seung-heon debuted as a model for a clothing brand in 1995. He rose to stardom with numerous hit dramas like 'Three Guys and Three Girls,' 'Autumn in My Heart,' and 'East of Eden.' He also made memorable appearances in films such as 'He Was Cool' and 'Obsessed.'
