Singer Kim Hee-jae graced the airwaves of SBS Power FM's 'Cultwo Show' for the first time in two years, delivering a soul-stirring live performance.
Appearing on the broadcast on the 23rd alongside (G)I-DLE member Yuqi, Kim Hee-jae introduced his latest mini-album, ‘HEE’story’.
During his appearance, Kim Hee-jae revealed he had lost 8kg for this comeback, stating his desire to showcase a sharper image befitting a ballad album. Yuqi enthusiastically complimented his appearance, saying, "You look so handsome!" The atmosphere was further lightened as Kim Hee-jae also extended birthday wishes to Yuqi.
The artist captivated listeners with a live rendition of his title track, ‘I Can No Longer See My Love’. He explained the significance of the album title ‘HEE’story’, noting that it encapsulates his personal journey and experiences.
Kim Hee-jae, who has long been a fan of singer Jang Yoon-jeong since before his debut, shared his pride in now being under the same agency and performing with her. He fondly recalled a moment when he confessed his long-standing admiration to Jang Yoon-jeong, who playfully asked why he hadn't mentioned it sooner.
Following his appearance on 'Cultwo Show', Kim Hee-jae is set to promote his new music on SBS funE's 'The Show' and other programs, officially kicking off his comeback activities. He plans to connect with fans through various broadcasts.
Kim Hee-jae first gained recognition through his appearance on 'Star King' in 2008, followed by winning the Grand Prize on 'National Singing Contest' in 2011. He further rose to popularity after participating in the TV Chosun survival show 'Mr. Trot' in 2020, securing the 7th position.
