
Lee Byung-hun & Park Chan-wook's 'Unavoidable Fate' Adds Special Chuseok Holiday Screenings
The film 'Unavoidable Fate,' a Golden Lion contender at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and the opening film of the 30th Busan International Film Festival, has announced additional stage greetings for its second week of release and the Chuseok holiday.
'Unavoidable Fate' tells the story of 'Man-su' (Lee Byung-hun), a company employee who felt his life was fulfilling, but faces unexpected layoff. He then embarks on a personal war to protect his wife, two children, and the home he worked hard to acquire, seeking re-employment.
The newly added Chuseok holiday stage greetings are scheduled for October 1st (Wednesday) and October 6th (Monday). On October 1st, director Park Chan-wook, along with actors Lee Byung-hun, Lee Sung-min, and Yum Hye-ran, will visit Lotte Cinema Yeongdeungpo and CGV Yeongdeungpo to express gratitude to the audience. Following this, on October 6th, director Park Chan-wook and actor Lee Sung-min will spend a warm time with moviegoers at Lotte Cinema Konkuk Univ., Megabox Seongsu, CGV Wangsimni, and CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall.
