
Choi Si-won Revisits Shanghai Provisional Government Building After 6 Years: 'Inheriting the Spirit of Patriots for a Better Future'
Singer and actor Choi Si-won has revisited the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai after a six-year gap.
Choi recently shared his impressions on social media about returning to the Shanghai Provisional Government building, which he first visited with Professor Seo Kyoung-duk in January 2019. He mentioned that although he couldn't visit during a short fan event in July, he made sure to stop by this time during his 1-night, 2-day trip to share the profound emotions of that moment with his staff.
He emphasized, "The task that remains for us is clear." He stated, "Remembering the spirit of the patriotic martyrs, inheriting their will, ensuring their past sacrifices are not in vain, and passing on a better future to the next generation – this is the responsibility of us living today."
Choi further added, "Freedom and peace are never given for granted. The present we enjoy is a precious time built upon the noble sacrifices of those who dedicated themselves to our nation," expressing his heartfelt emotions.
Choi Si-won debuted as a member of Super Junior, establishing himself as a leading K-pop idol group. He has solidified his position as an all-around entertainer by actively participating in acting and variety shows.
