Son Ye-jin Opens Up About Her 'Unconditional Love' for Son: 'Best Thing I've Ever Done'

Actress Son Ye-jin has once again captured the hearts of fans with her overflowing affection for her son.

In a video released on the YouTube channel 'Yojung Jaehyung' on the 21st, host Jung Jae-hyung inquired about Son Ye-jin's child. Son Ye-jin playfully responded, "I'll show you a picture later. But if I say he's too pretty, people might think, 'He's not *that* pretty,' so please give an objective opinion," showcasing her maternal side.

Jung Jae-hyung, referencing Son Ye-jin's childhood photos, commented, "He has your features and his father's too. Your face, especially, has a baby-like quality," which surprised Son Ye-jin. He further expressed admiration, "I was truly shocked; I didn't know someone could look like that." Son Ye-jin then shared, "Our baby resembles me a little," to which Jung Jae-hyung responded with anticipation, "It would be amazing if he looked exactly like you."

Furthermore, Son Ye-jin made a candid confession. "Actually, I didn't particularly like babies before," she admitted with a laugh. When Jung Jae-hyung asked, "Is your own child different?" Son Ye-jin smiled warmly and shared, "When mothers say, 'Giving birth was the best thing I've ever done in my life,' I only understood it intellectually. I never thought I'd feel that way. My child is irreplaceable, and that love is unconditional," conveying her profound maternal bond.

This isn't the first time Son Ye-jin's 'love for her son' has been evident. In March, during a YouTube content segment revealing her bag's contents, she briefly showed a photo of her son as her phone wallpaper, sparking interest. Although the photo was blurred, her inability to hide her smile while looking at the screen clearly conveyed her immense affection.
