Yuqi, a member of the K-pop group (G)I-DLE, has gifted her fans with a special treat to celebrate her birthday.

Cube Entertainment announced on September 23rd at noon that a special clip for the Chinese version of 'Still Hurt' (Chinese title: '还痛吗', pronounced 'Hai Tong Ma'), a track from Yuqi's first single album 'Motivation,' was released on (G)I-DLE's official social media channels. This release on Yuqi's birthday, September 23rd, holds special significance.

The released video features Yuqi performing the song with deep emotional expressions on stage, set against a backdrop from the music video of 'Still Hurt.' Her gaze, sometimes lingering on the distance and other times directly at the camera, conveyed a sense of confusion and captivation, drawing viewers in.

The 'Still Hurt' music video previously told a story of Yuqi discovering the truth behind her lover's departure through a letter left behind, leading to their reunion as a singer and audience member. This special clip completes the narrative by showcasing Yuqi singing '还痛吗' on stage.

'还痛吗' is the Chinese rendition of 'Still Hurt,' expressing raw emotions faced at the moment of a breakup. While the Korean version conveyed the sadness of parting in a lyrical tone, the Chinese lyrics offer a more direct and poignant expression of love, delivering a deeper resonance.
