MBC's 'Homely House' (originally 'Guhaejwo! Homz') will feature a special episode on the 25th, taking viewers on an immersive property tour along the Han River, offering a novel approach to commuting.

This episode aims to provide fresh solutions for Seoul's congested commutes, presenting a 'foreigners-in-name-only' special. Singer Baekga from Itaewon, broadcaster Lucky from India, and Leo from Finland will join forces with team leader Kim Sook to explore properties in Seoul.

Lucky, hailing from India, shared his country's standards for a good home, emphasizing the necessity of bathrooms in every room and an additional guest restroom, with a minimum of three bedrooms and four bathrooms considered ideal.

Leo, originally from Finland, highlighted the cultural importance of having a sauna within the home, noting the Finnish tradition of sauna bathing every Friday. He expressed shock at Seoul's housing prices, remarking that they seem 'crazy' and are particularly burdensome for foreigners who often face difficulties securing loans and must pay in cash.

The group then boarded a Han River ferry towards their next destination, Oksu-dong. Kim Sook mentioned that the Han River ferry service was inspired by London's River Bus. Leo recalled a similar experience on a water bus in Brisbane, Australia, sparking a conversation about unique public transportation systems worldwide.

Upon disembarking at Oksu Pier, Kim Sook introduced Oksu-dong as the setting for the drama 'Seoul's Moon' and a former hillside village that underwent significant redevelopment after the Oksu Station opened in 1985. Baekga shared surprising anecdotes about housing prices in Hannam-dong and Itaewon from the 1980s, based on what his mother told him.

The team then presented a second home in Geumho-dong, belonging to an Italian resident. The interior evoked a medieval European palace, offering a visually rich experience. The prime attraction was the breathtaking view of the Han River and the 'L' Tower from the living room.

Baekga, known for his unique artistic style, has gained popularity not only as a singer but also as a witty entertainer on various variety shows. He has carved out a distinct niche with his unconventional music videos and strong personal brand. In recent years, he has also showcased impressive talent in interior design, demonstrating versatility across multiple creative fields.
