Kang Seung-ho Joins MBN's New Drama 'The First Lady,' Starring Alongside Eugene and Ji Hyun-woo

Actor Kang Seung-ho has been cast in MBN's upcoming Wednesday-Thursday mini-series, 'The First Lady.'

'The First Lady' revolves around the unprecedented events that unfold when a husband elected as president demands a divorce from his wife, who is set to become the First Lady. The drama is expected to thrillingly depict the fierce conflict between the president-elect couple, political conspiracies, and hidden family secrets during the 67 days leading up to the inauguration.

Kang Seung-ho will portray Kang Sun-ho, a lawyer handling the divorce lawsuit for Cha Soo-yeon (played by Eugene). Kang Sun-ho is a character who lost his parents in an accident during his childhood and has relentlessly pursued the truth behind that day, possessing a sharp intellect and unwavering conviction. The actor is anticipated to add tension to the series by vividly embodying Kang Sun-ho's complex inner world.

Having showcased his talents across theater, film, and television, Kang Seung-ho recently garnered praise for his explosive emotional performance as an kidnapper opposite Han Suk-kyu in tvN's 'Project Mitsu.' He is set to embark on another acting transformation with 'The First Lady.'

'The First Lady,' featuring Eugene, Ji Hyun-woo, Lee Min-young, and Kang Seung-ho, airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:20 PM KST on MBN.
