Rookie Group KickFlip Dominates Album Charts for Two Consecutive Days with New Mini-Album 'My First Flip'

JYP Entertainment's promising new boy group, KickFlip, has officially announced their successful comeback by topping domestic album charts for two consecutive days with their third mini-album, 'My First Flip'.

The album, released on September 22nd, features a total of seven tracks, including the title song 'First Song I've Sung'. Notably, all members participated in the songwriting and composition process, showcasing their musical talents. The album, which explores the fresh emotions of first love, has been met with an enthusiastic response from fans, immediately clinching the number one spot on various album sales tracking sites.

The title track, 'First Song I've Sung', co-written and co-composed by member Donghyun, has been praised for its evocative melody and lyrics, painting a picture of confession under a sunset sky. It impressively reached number one on the Bugs real-time chart within six hours of its release, with all other tracks also charting in the top rankings.

As part of their comeback promotions, KickFlip held a special fan event, 'Billboard Korea Busking Live with KickFlip,' on September 23rd at the Marina Outdoor Stage in Yeouido, Seoul. This marked their first-ever busking performance, where they energized the audience with live renditions of the title track and other album songs. A talk segment themed around 'firsts' also provided fans with amusement through the members' witty banter.

Debuting in January of this year, KickFlip has consistently demonstrated their growth by actively participating in music production.
