Volleyball icon Kim Yeon-koung is stepping into a new role, transitioning from legendary player to a 'rookie director.'

At the production presentation for MBC's new variety show, ‘Rookie Director Kim Yeon-koung,’ held on September 24th at the Golden Mouse Hall in MBC's new building in Mapo-gu, Seoul, Kim Yeon-koung shared her excitement about her post-retirement endeavors.

The show will chronicle Kim Yeon-koung's ambitious project of establishing her own volleyball club from scratch. Fans are eagerly anticipating seeing a different side of the celebrated athlete as she navigates the challenges of building a new team.
