Actor Choi Gwi-hwa, known for his intense villain roles on screen, has touched hearts with his genuine kindness and support off-camera.

Recently, Choi Gwi-hwa appeared on the show 'Ko So-young's Pubstaurant' alongside fellow actor Park Ji-hwan. From their entrance, the two actors filled the studio with laughter, engaging in witty banter with host Ko So-young.

The episode shed light on Choi Gwi-hwa's heartwarming generosity. Park Ji-hwan lauded Choi for always taking care of those around him on set, even purchasing clothing from a friend's brand to gift to junior actors, showcasing his strong sense of loyalty. He also frequently bought food to share with everyone.

Particularly moving was the story shared by a broadcast staff member, identified as Mr. A, who has worked in the industry for over a decade. Mr. A revealed that when facing significant financial hardship due to impending surgery for women's cancer, Choi Gwi-hwa stepped in and covered his medical expenses. This allowed Mr. A to receive treatment and recover. Choi humbly commented, "I asked him because he didn't look well, and learned about his situation. I helped as much as I could." He added, "Seeing him healthy and working hard brings me great joy."

Choi Gwi-hwa is currently captivating audiences as Prince Jasan in tvN's 'The Tyrant's Chef' and will soon be seen in a new transformation in the Disney+ series 'Takryu', set to release on the 26th.
