TWICE's Chaeyoung Makes Billboard 200 Debut with Solo Album 'LIL FANTASY'

Chaeyoung, a member of the popular K-pop group TWICE, has officially launched her solo career with impressive chart performance.

Her debut full-length solo album, 'LIL FANTASY vol.1,' released on September 12th, entered the prestigious Billboard 200 chart at number 38. This ranking was officially announced by Billboard on its website on September 27th (local time).

Beyond the main album chart, 'LIL FANTASY vol.1' also secured spots on several other Billboard charts, including 'Emerging Artists' at number one, 'Artist 100,' 'Top Album Sales,' 'Top Current Album Sales,' 'World Albums,' and 'Vinyl Albums,' underscoring Chaeyoung's growing global influence.

The album, which expresses Chaeyoung's personal musical world, features her participation in the writing and composition of all 10 tracks. The title song, 'SHOOT (Firecracker),' showcases her ambition and message through her comprehensive involvement in writing, composing, and arranging. Prior to this, the album topped the Hanteo Chart's daily album chart on its release day and achieved a top 5 position on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, demonstrating strong domestic and international success.

Meanwhile, TWICE is currently on their sixth world tour, <THIS IS FOR>. They have also achieved career-highs on global music charts, including the Billboard Hot 100, with their songs 'TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG)' from the Netflix drama 'KPop Demon Hunters' OST and 'Strategy' from their 14th mini-album. TWICE is set to release their special 10th-anniversary album 'TEN: The story Goes On' on October 10th and will hold their 10th-anniversary fan meeting '10VE UNIVERSE' on October 18th to create special memories with their fans.
