Min Byung-chul, Chairman of the Sunfull Foundation and a distinguished professor at Chung-Ang University, who has championed the 'Sunfull (good comments)' movement for 18 years, is now leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to cultivate a culture of praise in the digital realm with his new platform, 'ChatKind'.

Officially launched on the 23rd, ChatKind is an AI-based platform that assigns 'kindness scores' to congratulatory comments posted in workplaces and schools. Accumulated scores can be redeemed for tangible rewards such as coffee coupons, gift certificates, or even paid leave. The AI analyzes not only the presence of compliments but also their sincerity and specificity, while proactively filtering out malicious or negative content.

Currently undergoing pilot testing in schools like Kwangwoon AI High School and Osan High School, the platform has received positive feedback regarding improvements in students' communication styles. Min Byung-chul stated, "We expect this to contribute to the prevention of school violence and the spread of a positive digital culture." Developed over three years, ChatKind has recently been listed on app stores, with numerous companies like Lotte Hotel and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry preparing for its adoption.

Comedian Yoon Jung-soo also lent his support, recently requesting 'good comments' following news of his marriage. Min Byung-chul emphasized, "In an era rife with digital violence, compliments and consideration must become new driving forces." He expressed his ambition to expand the 'K-Sunfull' culture globally, starting from Korea.

Chairman Min Byung-chul is widely recognized as a foundational figure in English language education in Korea, gaining fame in the 1980s through his 'Min Byung-chul's Everyday English' textbook and television appearances. He founded the 'Sunfull Movement Headquarters' in 2007, dedicating the last 18 years to promoting positive online interactions. His latest initiative, ChatKind, represents a fusion of his extensive experience in education with cutting-edge digital technology, aiming to create a more supportive online environment.
