Ji Seok-jin, Jeon So-min, Lee Sang-yeob, Lee Mi-joo 'Forced Labor' on 'SeokSamPlay' Challenge: Catch 200 Octopus
The cast members of 'SeokSamPlay', Ji Seok-jin, Jeon So-min, Lee Sang-yeob, and Lee Mi-joo, found themselves engaged in 'forced labor' in the 7th episode of the Wavve entertainment show 'SeokSamPlay'.
Arriving at their fourth travel destination in Taean, South Chungcheong Province, the group embarked on 'fishing labor' to earn funds for their trip expenses. With their budget reduced to 200,000 KRW due to a failed mission in the previous trip, the members turned to 'octopus fishing' to achieve their dream of traveling abroad.
Initially protesting being forced onto the fishing boat arranged by the production team, Jeon So-min and Lee Mi-joo expressed their dissatisfaction, citing that their contract did not include such labor. However, the production team's ambitious offer to multiply their budget eightfold if they caught 200 octopus, coupled with the captain's confident remark that they could catch 400-500 in a good haul, quickly ignited the members' competitive spirit.
After immersing themselves in octopus fishing, the cast enjoyed the quintessential sailor experience of eating ramen on the boat. Following Jeon So-min's impromptu suggestion to make it a bet, with the person who caught the fewest octopus having to cover the expenses with their own money (100,000 KRW), the final 30-minute 'ultimate fishing showdown' heightened the suspense to its peak.
Upon returning to their accommodation after the fishing session, the members commenced the 'Double Up' game. Lee Sang-yeob humorously declared that if they failed to earn money in this game, their next gathering would be at Ji Seok-jin's house, even teasing that Ji Seok-jin's wife would make an appearance, hinting at a potential 'home-vacation' scenario at his residence. Finally, the group faced a 'Relay Action Game' with unprecedented difficulty, leaving them bewildered while the production team appeared nonchalant, adding to the comedic tension.
