Kang Soo-jung Shares Update Amidst Hong Kong's Typhoon Signal 10: 'It's Scary'

Broadcaster Kang Soo-jung has shared her current situation amidst a powerful typhoon hitting Hong Kong.

On the 24th, Kang Soo-jung posted photos on her personal social media account showing the stormy weather outside her window.

The images revealed her terrace completely flooded due to the fierce winds and rain, with fog and downpour obscuring the view outside.

Expressing her concern, Kang Soo-jung stated, "I'm glad I brought all the plants inside yesterday and moved the chairs and tables indoors," adding, "The wind is tremendous, and it's scary."

She also reflected on her previous optimism, saying, "I regret saying yesterday that the weather was nice," and expressed her hope for the typhoon to pass by the afternoon.

Born in 1977, Kang Soo-jung began her career as a KBS announcer in 2002, quickly gaining popularity for her beauty and witty remarks. She married her husband, a Korean-American working in finance, in 2016 and currently resides in Hong Kong.
