The terrace of her home was flooded with rainwater, and strong winds and fog obscured the view outside. She mentioned, "I'm glad I brought all the flower pots and furniture inside yesterday," revealing her preparations for the storm. However, she also expressed her fear, stating, "The wind is tremendous, it's scary."

The Hong Kong Observatory issued the highest level, Typhoon Signal No. 10, causing widespread disruption. Over 700 flights were canceled, and schools were closed, effectively paralyzing the city. The situation was so severe that the city was practically shut down.

Kang Soo-jung, known as an original 'annutainer' after debuting as a KBS announcer in 2002, married a finance professional in 2008 and has been living in Hong Kong for 15 years.
