BTS's V Buys Luxury Penthouse in Cheongdam for $14.2 Million in Cash

V (Kim Tae-hyung), a member of the global K-pop sensation BTS, has reportedly purchased a luxurious penthouse at 'The PENTHOUSE Cheongdam (PH129)' in Seoul's affluent Cheongdam-dong district for 14.2 billion KRW (approximately $10.4 million USD).

According to real estate records dated the 24th, V finalized the transaction on the 17th of this month, acquiring a duplex unit spanning 273.96 square meters (about 82 pyeong). Notably, the entire purchase was made with cash, with no mortgage loans registered, indicating a full cash transaction.

PH129, a high-end residential complex completed in 2020, features 29 duplex units. The building is already home to notable figures such as actor Jang Dong-gun and his wife Ko So-young, golf legend Park In-bee, and star instructor Hyun Woo-jin, making V their new neighbor.

This acquisition adds to a series of high-value real estate purchases by BTS members. Jin previously bought a unit in Hannam The Hill for 17.5 billion KRW, J-Hope acquired a penthouse in APYEONG HANNAM with cash, and RM and Jimin purchased units in Nine One Hannam. Jungkook is residing in a newly built detached house in Yongsan-gu, while Suga has settled in Riverhill Hannam.

Born in 1995, V debuted with BTS in 2013 and quickly became known for his striking visuals and unique vocal tone. He has achieved significant success with his solo music, most recently releasing his album 'Layover,' further showcasing his artistic prowess.
