Lucky, Ahead of His Wedding, Unveils the Indian Embassy Residence on 'Home Alone'
Lucky, the Indian broadcaster who is set to tie the knot on the 28th, will be featured on the MBC entertainment program 'Home Alone' (also known as 'Save Me! Homes'), introducing the Indian Embassy residence.
The episode airing today, the 25th, is themed around a special 'Commuting via the Han River' exploration. This special segment will feature singer Baekga, Lucky, and Leo, joining forces with host Kim Sook to discover new commuting routes in Seoul.
Notably, the Indian Embassy residence in Itaewon will be revealed for the first time on broadcast, thanks to Lucky's connection. The residence, built on a spacious 1850㎡ plot, was formerly a school building acquired and renovated by the Indian government in the mid-1980s. Lucky explains that as a venue for hosting numerous gatherings, it necessitates diplomatic spaces such as banquet halls and lounges in addition to living quarters.
The spouse of the Indian Ambassador to Korea personally welcomed the four guests and guided them through various parts of the residence, showcasing diverse Indian artifacts. Sharing about the Indian afternoon tea culture, the Ambassador's spouse served milk tea and samosas. When asked about her favorite Korean foods, she mentioned hotteok, naengmyeon, and mango bingsu, and shyly confessed her admiration for actors Park Bo-gum, Lee Dong-wook, and Gong Yoo.
Following this, the team visits a detached house located near Mangwon Hangang Park, in the vicinity of Mapo-gu Office Station. The house was personally designed and constructed by an architect husband, with interior design handled by his wife, immediately raising expectations for the property.
The interior, decorated in a mustard yellow hue, along with tasteful decor, offered a glimpse into the owner's sophisticated taste. A private terrace provides a healing space with views of birch trees. Ascending to the second, third, and fourth floors reveals expanding living rooms and a spacious rooftop veranda, offering versatile usage possibilities.
However, Baekga detected something amiss while inspecting the property and refused to continue filming. Baekga confessed to the production team that he suffers from severe cat fur allergies. Kim Sook then revealed that three cats reside in the house, reportedly suggesting Baekga's early departure. The episode airs tonight, Thursday, at 10 PM.
Lucky, an Indian native, has established himself as a popular broadcaster in South Korea, appearing on various entertainment shows. He is currently receiving much attention as he is about to marry a Korean actress. His participation in 'Home Alone' is drawing significant interest in his life in Korea and his search for a new home.
