NCT's Jaehyun to Sing Official Song for Armed Forces Day While Serving

Jaehyun, a member of the K-pop group NCT, will lend his voice to the official song for Korea's Armed Forces Day while currently fulfilling his mandatory military service.

Representing the Army Military Band, Jaehyun has completed recording the song titled 'Cheer with a Roar' and filming its music video.

Having enlisted in the Army Military Band on November 4, 2024, Jaehyun has been diligently serving as a military musician, participating in various military events. His musical talents are expected to boost the morale of fellow soldiers through this special project.

Known within NCT as an all-rounder, Jaehyun excels as the main vocalist, lead rapper, and lead dancer. Fans are eagerly anticipating how his signature mid-low vocal tone will interpret the uplifting melody of the Armed Forces Day anthem.

'Cheer with a Roar' was produced in collaboration between the Korea Defense Daily and the Armed Forces Day organizing committee. The song uses the energetic style of band music to celebrate the unity of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. This initiative aims to connect soldiers with the public through the universal medium of music.

The song and music video are scheduled for release prior to Armed Forces Day, with plans to make them available on YouTube, fostering a sense of shared celebration among service members and the public.

Jaehyun debuted as a member of NCT in 2016 and is recognized for his multifaceted talents as the group's main vocalist, lead rapper, and lead dancer.
