As One to Release Final Single 'Just Loving You' on September 30th, Featuring Late Member Lee-Min's Last Vocals
South Korea's iconic R&B duo, As One, will release their official final single, 'Just Loving You' (다만 널 사랑하고 있을 뿐이야), on September 30th.
Following the sudden passing of member Lee-Min in August, their agency Brand New Music surprised fans by unveiling the single's artwork on official social media channels. The release will feature Lee-Min's final recorded vocals, leaving a profound emotional impact.
The cover art, a painting of a purple butterfly by singer Lisa, a close friend of Lee-Min, carries the message, "Wherever you are, I hope you are happy." This artwork is particularly poignant as it was inspired by the 'purple butterfly' witnessed by colleagues during Lee-Min's farewell, touching the hearts of many.
In a heartfelt message accompanying the artwork, member Crystal expressed gratitude to fans, stating, "From our beginning until now, you have always been a warm light by our side. Thanks to you, we were able to walk the journey of our dreams under the name As One. We will always cherish the fact that we were always one through love, support, and music."
Brand New Music announced that a portion of the single's revenue will be donated to animal rights organizations, which Lee-Min consistently supported during her life. The agency shared, "We hope many people will remember and cherish As One through their music for a long time."
As One's final single, 'Just Loving You,' offering comfort to fans mourning the late Lee-Min, will be officially released on September 30th at 6 PM KST across all major online music platforms.
As One debuted in 1999 and quickly established themselves as a leading female R&B duo in South Korea, known for their distinct musical style and heartfelt ballads. The group consisted of members Lee-Min and Crystal, whose contrasting yet complementary vocal colors created a unique harmony. Their music has resonated with fans for over two decades, making this final release a significant moment in their career.
