
BTS's Jimin Makes Quiet Donation of 100 Million KRW to Jeonbuk Education Office
Jimin, a member of global sensation BTS, has continued his quiet philanthropy by donating 100 million KRW to the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education. This generous contribution aims to support students facing difficult circumstances.
According to the Jeonbuk Office of Education, Jimin's father, Park Hyun-soo, conveyed his son's wishes to donate in July. The funds were deposited into the 'Love Scholarship Foundation' account on September 18th. Following Jimin's request, the donation was made privately without any official ceremony.
The education office plans to utilize the donated funds to provide academic support for low-income students in the Jeonbuk region. This marks Jimin's sixth consecutive donation to various regional education offices since 2019, following similar contributions to Busan, Jeonnam, Gangwon, Chungbuk, and Gyeongnam, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to student welfare.
Jimin is renowned for his exceptional dance skills and unique vocal color, establishing himself as a leading figure in K-pop. His solo endeavors, including tracks like 'Filter' and 'Serendipity', have garnered significant international acclaim.
