KBS2 has announced an exceptional 20-minute extension for its special program 'Jo Yong-pil, Forever in This Moment,' celebrating the 80th anniversary of Korea's Liberation Day. The broadcast, now totaling three hours, will allow viewers to fully enjoy the legendary singer Jo Yong-pil's performance from the comfort of their homes.

Scheduled to air on October 6th, this special marks Jo Yong-pil's first solo stage on KBS in 28 years, following his 'Big Show' in 1997. His recent concert of the same name garnered immense praise, featuring 28 songs and setting records for its scale and audience reception, reaffirming his status as the 'King of Singers'.

KBS stated, "We made the decision to extend the broadcast by 20 minutes internally so that not a single song from the eagerly awaited performance would be missed." They added, "This is also a gesture of respect for Jo Yong-pil, a national treasure artist." The broadcaster concluded, "We hope that the entire family can enjoy Jo Yong-pil's performance on KBS again after 28 years this Chuseok holiday."

The 'Jo Yong-pil, Forever in This Moment' series will be broadcast over three parts during the Chuseok holiday. The prequel airs on October 3rd at 10 PM, the main concert on October 6th at 7:20 PM, and a behind-the-scenes documentary on October 8th at 7:20 PM.
