Singer Sean Clarifies 'Adoption' Misconception, Reveals Pet Dog Leo for the First Time

Singer Sean has addressed misconceptions about adoption, revealing his pet dog Leo to the public for the first time.

In a recent video uploaded to the 'Sean Kokoseyo' channel, titled 'The Youngest Child Hogging Hyeyoung's Love... (Adopted Dog Leo),' Sean clarified statements made by some viewers.

He explained, "Some people see my family members appearing on my channel and assume I have four children and that they are adopted. It seems they might be confusing me with senior Cha In-pyo. However, our four children were all born to Hyeyoung."

Sean then introduced his newest family member, stating, "But we have one more youngest member. I'll be revealing him for the first time. Meet our adorable Leo." He affectionately described Leo, who was sleeping in the passenger seat, as not necessarily an early riser but someone who loves to sleep, often on his wife Hyeyoung's lap, and enjoys morning walks.

Being the youngest, Leo receives special attention and love from Hyeyoung. Sean mentioned that while his children adore Leo and sometimes take him to their beds, he aims to establish independent sleeping arrangements for Leo, similar to how he raised his own children after a certain age. However, Leo often finds his way into Hyeyoung's bed if her door is left ajar.

The video then showed Sean and Leo embarking on a walk at Namsan. Sean noted how much Leo has grown since their first visit, recalling that Leo was just a puppy then. Born on October 28, 2020, Leo will turn five next month. As a toy poodle, Leo, like other poodles known for their scent-tracking abilities, loves to sniff around.

Sean also shared that Hyeyoung, who initially feared dogs after a childhood incident, has become completely smitten with Leo, often watching dog videos and showering him with affection. He detailed how they initially met Leo through a friend's suggestion, and despite her initial reservations, Hyeyoung fell in love with Leo's charming nature upon meeting him. Even friends who look after Leo when the family travels become incredibly fond of him, constantly asking when they can see him again, which Sean takes as a testament to Leo's wonderful personality.

Sean debuted as a singer in 1997 with his solo album 'Remember.' He married actress Jung Hye-young in 2004, and they have two sons and two daughters. They welcomed their fifth family member, a pet dog named Leo. Sean is widely known as 'Angel of Donation' for his continuous charitable work and active involvement in social contributions.
