Singer Lee Young-ji expressed her dismay following a major update to the KakaoTalk messaging application.

Communicating with fans via the private messaging platform Bubble, Young-ji revealed her frustration. She had attempted to avoid the update but was surprised when it automatically installed without her consent.

"Ah!!!!! No, please," she lamented, adding, "Ah… it's ugly," as she described her dissatisfaction with the updated KakaoTalk interface. Ultimately, Young-ji exclaimed, "No!!!!!! I hate it!!!!!!!!!" and shared a screenshot of the changed app screen.

Notably, her updated profile prominently featured old photos, including a past profile picture of singer Park Jae-beom, whom she had previously admired as a fan, alongside many of her own school-day pictures. "Everything from when I used Jae-beom-nim's profile picture in high school is spread out wide on my KakaoTalk profile," she added, humorously stating, "I'm going to delete it all now."

Meanwhile, KakaoTalk recently rolled out a significant update, receiving mixed reactions from users. Some users have shared methods to disable automatic updates, citing their inconvenience.

Lee Young-ji first gained recognition after winning the Mnet rap competition 'High School Rapper 3' in 2019. She is widely loved for her exceptional rap skills and her honest, cheerful personality.
