
Lucky Reveals Cultural Differences in Weddings on 'Homely Homes'
Indian entrepreneur Lucky, who is soon to be a newlywed, shared interesting differences between Korean and Indian wedding customs on the latest episode of MBC's 'Homely Homes'.
Appearing on the show as a groom-to-be, Lucky, who has lived in Korea for 33 years, explained his wedding plans. He mentioned that he would have a ceremony in Korea first, and then head to India for another celebration.
When host Yang Se-chan inquired about wedding gift customs in India, Lucky humorously stated that while there isn't a tradition of cash gifts, he wished there were. He described Indian weddings as more festive, where guests attend dressed in their finest attire and enjoy the meal.
Kim Sook and Park Na-rae playfully suggested adopting the Indian style for his Korean wedding. When Lucky asked if they would attend, Yang Se-hyung humorously replied that he would attend if it were in the Indian style, eliciting laughter from the cast.
