Moon Won Tears Up Expressing Guilt to Fiancée Shin Ji Ahead of Wedding
Singer Moon Won became emotional, shedding tears as he expressed his apologies to his fiancée Shin Ji ahead of their wedding.
A video titled 'I want to talk about what I couldn't say until now' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'How About It?!?' on the 25th.
In the video, Moon Won recalled a difficult period marked by social anxiety, expressing deep gratitude for Shin Ji's unwavering support. He admitted, "I avoided people a lot," and struggled to make eye contact with the camera as he continued, "Shin Ji helped me so much, comforted me a great deal, and I'm very thankful. Even though she was struggling too."
He also shared his affection for their new home, stating, "My wife seems very comfortable here, she even takes naps. I feel very at ease too." He added, "Flowers bloomed in the house as soon as we moved in. They hadn't bloomed before, so when flowers bloomed upon our arrival, it made me feel so good," highlighting the positive changes.
Moon Won was visibly distressed recalling the backlash from a past etiquette video and subsequent privacy controversies that fueled public opposition to his marriage. "If I hadn't made mistakes... my wife was already mentally struggling," he confessed, his voice trembling. "I thought not only my wife but also the agency staff and the members of Koyote were harmed because of me." He shed tears, overwhelmed by guilt.
Shin Ji comforted him warmly, saying, "Why are you sorry? I took it to calm myself down. Why are you crying? Now is not the time to cry. Don't cry, it's okay." She added, "You're crying because you had a hard time, right? Oh, it's okay." Moon Won responded, "I think I'm doing even better now than before," to which Shin Ji replied, "You were always good, but you keep getting better and better," eventually tearing up herself.
Meanwhile, Moon Won and Shin Ji are currently living together in their new home, preparing for their wedding next year.
Moon Won was previously active as a comedian and currently co-hosts a YouTube channel with his fiancée Shin Ji, sharing their daily lives. He expressed profound gratitude towards Shin Ji, who stood by him during challenging times, and conveyed his anticipation for their upcoming marriage. He also vowed to continue improving and showcasing his best efforts.
