Actress Park Jun-myeon, known for her discerning palate, is set to reappear on the popular MBC variety show 'Omniscient Interfering View' (OI).

In the 366th episode, airing on Saturday, October 27th, viewers will get a taste of Park Jun-myeon's culinary adventures as she prepares for her role as a royal food taster in the drama 'The Tyrant's Chef'.

The episode will feature Park Jun-myeon meticulously preparing lunchboxes ahead of a musical performance. True to her reputation as a food connoisseur, she will demonstrate her signature 'tasting' skills, a process of carefully sampling and evaluating flavors that promises to make viewers' mouths water. What begins as a tasting is expected to evolve into a humorous eating spree.

Special attention will be given to the unique ingredients she uses, including seasonal Hong-gamja (a type of potato) from Namhae and corn from Goseong. Esteemed foodie Lee Young-ja praised the Hong-gamja, describing its texture as 'fluffy like a castella cake.' She also marveled at Park's large-scale steaming method, comparing it to traditional methods from Gangwon Province and noting how flavors would 'fuse'.

Furthermore, Park Jun-myeon will reveal her secret recipe for a special tuna ssamjang (dipping paste), made with freshly chopped vegetables and a blend of gochujang (red chili paste) and dates. The show will highlight a surprise 'kick' ingredient that adds a unique touch to her creation, which she describes as 'tender with a satisfying chew.'

Following her acclaimed kimchi-making in a previous episode, Park Jun-myeon will present a new kimchi dish: Pakimchi (green onion kimchi). This particular kimchi has garnered significant attention, even leading actress Kim Hye-soo to propose a kimchi business venture to Park. Her method of enjoying the freshly steamed Hong-gamja topped with Pakimchi elicited gasps of delight from the studio hosts.

Park Jun-myeon is a highly respected musical actress with a career spanning many years, who has also gained recognition for her versatile acting in dramas and films. She is widely loved for her culinary expertise and deep understanding of food, perfectly fitting her 'foodie' image.
