"When I was younger, I didn't believe in or take any supplements," Ko So-young revealed. She explained that she couldn't feel the effects of multivitamins back then, unlike now. The actress shared that after seeing her recent health check-up results and considering the difficulty of regulating her health through diet alone, she began incorporating supplements, influenced by advice that modern supplements are highly effective.
She detailed her morning routine, which now includes taking supplements, noting that they help with appetite control and satiety. Ko So-young showcased a wide array of health products, including those containing perilla oil, eggs, olive oil, lemon juice, and fish oil, explaining their benefits for circulation and overall well-being.
Additionally, she mentioned taking supplements like glutathione for skin whitening, inspired by younger friends and idol acquaintances who shared their favorite health boosters. "When I was young, we relied on our youth and didn't manage our health. But nowadays, younger people gift me supplements they find beneficial," she said, acknowledging the influence of her juniors.
Her collection also included lutein, blueberry concentrate, red ginseng, oral probiotics, vitamins, and sea kelp extract. Ko So-young emphasized that she takes supplements based on her daily condition rather than consuming everything. "Food is the most important, and these are aids to help me absorb nutrients faster and sufficiently," she clarified.
Concluding the segment, Ko So-young humorously lamented, "They say not taking supplements from your 30s is a sin against your body. I've been a great sinner! I should repent on my knees."
