'Napoli Mafia' Kwon Sung-jun Fills In for Kwak Tube, Sparks 'Homebody' Chemistry with Jun Hyun-moo
Chef Kwon Sung-jun, winner of 'Heukbaek Chef,' appeared on MBN and Channel S's 'Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2,' stepping in for Kwak Tube and capturing viewers' attention.
Jun Hyun-moo announced Kwak Tube's unexpected absence and asked Chef Kwon if he could fill his role. Kwon confidently and playfully responded that he could sufficiently substitute for his 'Hyung Jun-bin.' He revealed that he was born in 1995, making him three years younger than Kwak Tube, who was born in 1992.
Jun Hyun-moo expressed his awkwardness at calling Kwak Tube 'Hyung Jun-bin' but also conveyed his excitement about meeting Chef Kwon. He noted Kwon's expertise in Italian cuisine and fine dining, contrasting it with the program's focus on traditional, long-standing Korean restaurants.
Chef Kwon revealed himself to be a homebody, not fond of long queues or dining out. He mentioned his preference for making reservations three months in advance and rarely eating out. Surprisingly, Jun Hyun-moo also identified as a homebody who doesn't drink or go out much, leading to unexpected chemistry between them. Kwon jokingly expressed his ambition to 'take this spot' since Jun is busy, eliciting laughter.
Chef Kwon Sung-jun gained recognition after winning the MBN program 'Heukbaek Chef'. He primarily specializes in Italian cuisine and fine dining. He enjoys spending time at home and maintains a healthy lifestyle, abstaining from alcohol and smoking.
