MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone' is facing criticism after Kian84 made an inappropriate comment regarding Park Na-rae's late grandparents' belongings.

During the broadcast on the 26th, Park Na-rae was seen sorting through her deceased grandparents' home. Upon visiting the house for the first time in two years, she became emotional, reminiscing about cherished memories.

Her close colleagues, Jun Hyun-moo and Kian84, arrived to offer support. While Park Na-rae contemplated what to do with a sofa that still held traces of her grandparents, Kian84 suggested, "Or, maybe take some pictures and list it on 'Danggeun Market'?" This remark deeply upset Park Na-rae, leading to her breakdown, and shocked everyone in the studio.

In a later interview, Kian84 explained, "I thought if you were going to discard it, perhaps it could find new life and meaning," adding, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way." However, Jun Hyun-moo's attempt to lighten the mood with "Do you want to be hit with a Danggeun carrot?" only heightened the awkwardness.

Following the episode, viewers expressed disapproval, calling Kian84's comment "insensitive" and "careless." Interestingly, Park Na-rae mentioned on the show that despite her tears, Kian84's peculiar remark made her burst into laughter, paradoxically turning sorrow into a moment of shared amusement.

Kian84, whose real name is Kim Doo-young, is a webtoon artist and television personality widely recognized for his unique and candid charm on 'I Live Alone'. He has garnered significant public affection and built a strong presence through various entertainment programs.
