Actress Nam Bo-ra has expressed her dismay following the latest KakaoTalk update.
On the 26th, Nam Bo-ra shared her reaction on her social media account, posting, “Huh??? Does anyone know how to cancel the Kakao update???” along with a screenshot of the altered application.
The shared image revealed a drastically changed KakaoTalk interface, now featuring short-form videos prominently, making the messenger feel more like a social media platform. Nam Bo-ra conveyed her bewilderment at this shift.
Previously, singer Lee Young-ji had also voiced strong opposition on the fan communication platform Bubble, stating, “I held off on updating KakaoTalk, but is it okay to update like this without user consent?” She added, “No, please. It’s ugly. I hate it.”
In light of these sentiments, Nam Bo-ra’s comment, “Ah, what is this…” echoes the desire of many users to revert to the previous version of the app, garnering widespread agreement.
Nam Bo-ra gained public attention as the eldest daughter among thirteen siblings, with eight brothers and five sisters.
