Global Newcomers KATSEYE Hit Spotify's Top 10, Dominating Billboard & UK Charts

Global girl group KATSEYE, a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records, has achieved a significant milestone by entering the top 10 on Spotify's global main chart for the first time.

According to the Spotify 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart released on September 26th (local time), covering September 19th-25th, KATSEYE's track 'Gabriela' from their second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' secured the 10th position. This marks their 14th consecutive week on the chart and their highest ranking to date.

'Gabriela' continues to show remarkable upward momentum, even three months after its release in June. Beyond 'Gabriela,' other tracks are also performing strongly, with 'Gnarly' charting at 72nd (21 weeks cumulative) and 'Touch' at 156th (18 weeks cumulative) on the same Spotify chart. This chart, based solely on streaming numbers, offers a clear indicator of global music fan engagement and also influences the Billboard Hot 100.

KATSEYE's explosive growth is further evidenced by their Spotify monthly listener count. As of the latest data (August 28th - September 24th), they have amassed over 31.3 million monthly listeners. This is an impressive figure, especially considering the group is just entering its second year since debut, placing them in comparison with top-tier K-pop artists.

Following their buzzworthy performances at major music festivals like Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic 2025, many of KATSEYE's songs have been experiencing a resurgence on various major global charts.

Their impact is also evident on the UK's Official Singles Chart Top 100, where 'Gabriela' climbed to 40th for the chart week of September 26th to October 2nd. This follows an eight-week climb, building on their previous peak at 39th.

In the United States, KATSEYE continues to achieve remarkable feats. 'Gabriela' reached a new personal best of 45th on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated September 27th), while 'Gnarly' re-entered the chart at 97th, demonstrating strong staying power. Their EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' has remained on the Billboard 200 for 12 consecutive weeks, following its debut at number 4.

Looking ahead, KATSEYE is set to embark on their first headlining North American tour, spanning 13 cities and 16 dates starting in November. They are also scheduled to perform at the prestigious Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April of next year.
