Kim Woo-bin Recounts Hilarious Prank by Jo In-sung: 'Why Should I Smile?'
Actor Kim Woo-bin shared a funny anecdote involving his close friend Jo In-sung, leaving fans amused.
On the YouTube channel 'TeunTeun's' program 'The Wind in Autumn is an Excuse,' released on the 27th, Kim Woo-bin and Suzy, who are starring in the Netflix series 'Everything Will Be Fulfilled,' had a candid chat with hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yang Se-chan.
During the episode, Suzy spoke about her personality, stating, "I like efficiency, so if something feels inefficient, I tell myself there must be a reason and calm my mind." Kim Woo-bin added, "Suzy doesn't really express those feelings outwardly either," to which Suzy agreed, "There are often actual reasons for it."
As the conversation progressed, Kim Woo-bin recounted a peculiar experience he had during a shoot. He explained that while undergoing a camera scan for CG work, a staff member asked him to "smile a little." Initially bewildered by the unexpected request and lacking a clear reason, Kim Woo-bin tried to comply, assuming it was part of the process.
However, when the request was repeated, asking him to "please shoot while smiling," Kim Woo-bin felt more than just bewildered; he was perplexed. "It wasn't a situation that called for smiling, and it had nothing to do with the work," he said, adding, "I cautiously asked, 'Why do I need to smile?'"
In response to his question, the staff member adjusted his attire and said, "Isn't it nice to smile?" Hearing this, Kim Woo-bin recalled thinking, "I thought he was a really strange person." He then revealed that the staff member was actually his close friend, actor Jo In-sung, who had come over from a nearby set to play a prank on him.
Through this story, Kim Woo-bin showcased his signature humor by sharing the amusing situation that arose from Jo In-sung's unexpected prank.
