
BoA Promises to Pay More Attention to Makeup for 25th Debut Anniversary Live Stream
South Korean singer BoA has pledged to put more effort into her makeup routine, sharing her thoughts during a live stream celebrating her 25th debut anniversary.
On August 26th, BoA uploaded a video titled 'I've celebrated a happy 25th anniversary' to her YouTube channel, 'BoA', expressing her gratitude to her fans.
During the broadcast, BoA revealed, "I thought I would go to sleep after watching a drama, but I received a KakaoTalk message at 12:07 AM saying 'Congratulations on your 25th debut anniversary, Noona!' and I thought, 'What? Is it today?' That's how I realized it was my 25th anniversary."
She candidly admitted, "After over 10 years, the feeling isn't as strong anymore." While watching a 25th-anniversary video playing on the subway, she commented, "Why didn't they include my U.S. album or other works? It feels like you could compile so much material in just one year."
BoA also highlighted her appearance, stating, "How do I look today? I put on makeup. It's self-makeup." She then shared her experience visiting a fan cafe.
"I didn't expect so many people to be there. I bought some makeup today specifically to do my makeup, and I plan to start wearing makeup more often," she announced, promising to be more attentive to her appearance.
Regarding lip products, she laughed and said, "As a makeup enthusiast, you have to layer. You can't fall behind on trends. But I'm one of those people who doesn't follow trends at all," she joked.
Concluding the stream, BoA expressed her joy, stating, "I never imagined I'd get to see my fans today, and it was so enjoyable. It felt like you all know me better than I know myself, which makes me feel I need to work even harder. I've had a happy 25th anniversary."
