The tvN weekend drama ‘The Tyrant's Chef’ captivated audiences with its 11th episode, achieving a peak viewership rating of 13.7% and reclaiming the top spot in its time slot across all channels.

Last Saturday's broadcast depicted a heart-pounding cliffhanger as Yeon Ji-yeong (Im Yoon-ah) and Lee Heon (Lee Chae-min) found themselves ensnared in a traitor's trap, their lives hanging precariously in the balance.

Following Lee Heon's heartfelt confession, asking Yeon Ji-yeong to be his companion, she gently pushed him away, sensing an inevitable parting. However, she soothed his heart with a promise to return if he were not a tyrant, deepening their emotional bond, which culminated in a warm embrace.

During Queen Dowager Inju's (Seo Yi-sook) birthday banquet, Lee Heon prepared a mesmerizing Cheoyong dance, reminiscing about his childhood with his grandmother. The celebratory atmosphere abruptly turned chilling when Lee Jang-gyun (Lee Se-ho), coerced by Grand Prince Jesan (Choi Gwi-hwa) who held his family hostage, presented the historical records detailing the late Queen Consort's demise.

Upon learning the truth, Lee Heon erupted in fury, even pointing his sword at Queen Dowager Inju. Yeon Ji-yeong desperately tried to calm his rage, reminding him of her affection, "Because I long for you, Your Majesty." Coupled with the testimony of Lady Shim (Ye Soo-jung), who recalled the late Queen Consort's dying wish for her son to become a wise king and avenge her, Lee Heon eventually ceased his rampage, collapsing in despair.
