Former Wife YUMDENG Receives Flood of Support Following SUDDEN DEATH of YouTuber DAE DO SEO GWAN

News of the sudden passing of popular YouTuber DAE DO SEO GWAN (real name NA DONG HYEON) has sent waves of condolences towards his ex-wife, fellow YouTuber YUMDENG.

According to police reports on the 6th, DAE DO SEO GWAN was found deceased at his home in Gwangjin-gu early that morning. He was discovered after a friend reported him missing when he failed to show up for a scheduled meeting and was unreachable.

DAE DO SEO GWAN, a prominent figure among the first generation of Korean YouTubers, married YUMDENG in 2015. At the time of their marriage, YUMDENG had a son from a previous relationship, and DAE DO SEO GWAN embraced both YUMDENG and her son, garnering attention for his role as a stepfather.

Though the couple finalized their divorce by mutual agreement in 2023, they reportedly maintained a friendly relationship. Following the divorce, DAE DO SEO GWAN continued to be active, attending the 2026 S/S Seoul Fashion Week just days ago and sharing updates on his social media in May.

The sudden news has shocked many, and YUMDENG's social media has been inundated with messages of support, including comments like 'Stay strong' and 'Take care of yourself.'

NA DONG HYEON, widely known as DAE DO SEO GWAN, began his YouTube career in 2011, becoming a pioneer in the platform's early days. He gained a significant following for his diverse content, including gaming and talk shows. Despite his divorce from YUMDENG in 2023, he remained an active and engaging content creator.
