Oh Jung-tae's Eldest Daughter Accepted into Science High School, Bringing Joy to 'Same Bed, Different Dreams'

Comedian Oh Jung-tae shared his excitement over his eldest daughter's admission to a prestigious science high school.

On the SBS show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2 – You Are My Destiny', broadcast on the 8th, the daily life of Oh Jung-tae and his wife, Baek Ah-young, was revealed. Mrs. Baek was seen meticulously cleaning their home, even using a flashlight.

The couple joyfully announced their eldest daughter's final acceptance into a science high school. Special guest Mimi-minu commented on the school's elite status, noting that simply being good at studies isn't enough, and even top students might not get in, highlighting the exceptional caliber of students who attend.

Oh Jung-tae humorously attributed his daughter's academic prowess, contrasting with his own family's background, to a potential ancestor who served as a minister of interior and prime minister during the Joseon Dynasty. He acknowledged the nickname 'mutant daughter' given to his child due to her remarkable academic dedication, such as waking up at 6 AM since middle school and always having a book in hand, admitting it was accurate and not hurtful.

Oh Jung-tae, born in 1979, debuted as a KBS special recruit comedian in 2006. He gained recognition for his appearances on comedy shows like 'Gag Concert'. He married Baek Ah-young in 2013 and they have two daughters.
