Kim Byung-man's wife has spoken candidly for the first time on television about the challenges of keeping her marriage and two children a secret and the emotional toll it took.

During an appearance on TV Chosun's 'Joseon's Lover' on the 8th, she shared that she often had to manage things alone as her husband's public profile meant their daily lives, even simple activities like taking a sick child to the hospital, attracted significant attention. "Things that are routine for others garner attention for us. Even if the child was sick, we couldn't go to the hospital together," she revealed, evoking sympathy.

She also explained her decision to initially keep the pregnancy private, stating, "I didn't want [our child] to gain attention as Kim Byung-man's child." She added, "I thought it would naturally be revealed in due time." Reflecting on the difficult experience of giving birth alone, she confessed, "Thinking about it now, it's a bit emotional because I had to bear it all alone. Honestly, I was scared," before shedding tears.

Despite these hardships, Kim Byung-man's wife expressed deep admiration and love for her husband. She described him as a "tender-hearted and affectionate person," contrasting with his strong public image as 'The Master' or 'Chief'. She requested warm support for Kim Byung-man as a father of two and concluded by saying, "He is a precious and respected husband, and a person I want to protect by his side until the end."

Kim Byung-man, who married in 2010, finalized his divorce in 2023 and recently won a lawsuit regarding the relinquishment of his ex-wife's daughter. He has since registered his marriage with his current wife and his two children with her on his family registry. Kim Byung-man is scheduled to hold his wedding ceremony on the 20th.

Kim Byung-man debuted in 2000 through SBS's Gag Contest and is a renowned South Korean comedian.

He rose to fame and established himself as a 'national comedian' through popular shows like 'The Master' and 'Law of the Jungle'.

Recently, he has been building a new family and sharing his happy life, receiving blessings from many.
