Heo Ga-yoon, formerly of the K-pop group 4Minute, has shared an update on her life two years after relocating to Bali following the group's disbandment.

Appearing on the 'Shin Ah-ro-mi' YouTube channel, Heo Ga-yoon discussed the initial reactions to her move. "Nobody believed me. They thought I was just saying it," she recalled. Regarding the process of leaving her agency, she explained, "Right after a two-month stay, I contacted my agency CEO and said I wanted to live abroad. He readily agreed to end my contract," adding, "I wanted to wrap things up quickly to avoid causing inconvenience to others."

Heo Ga-yoon revealed that her choice of Bali was initially influenced by her former 4Minute member, Jeon Ji-yoon. "When I was going through a tough time, she suggested a resort area, and I found it incredibly pleasant," she shared. "The people are kind, the food is delicious, and every moment is wonderful. Even after living here for two years, it feels new every day." She also confessed that her chronic insomnia and binge-eating disorder, which she had suffered from, began to improve significantly after moving to Bali, enabling her to sleep soundly and stop binge eating.

Addressing speculation about her financial background, often referred to as being from a 'gold spoon' family, Heo Ga-yoon stated, "Seeing those misunderstandings and comments gave me the courage to write a book." She elaborated, "I felt it would be better to tell my story honestly rather than hide it." Heo Ga-yoon emphasized that having wealth doesn't automatically grant the ability to make such choices, calling it "a decision to let go of things that are difficult to relinquish, not a matter of money."

Heo Ga-yoon debuted in 2009 as a member of the popular girl group 4Minute, captivating fans with her powerful vocals and distinctive tone. After the group's activities concluded, she continued to pursue her musical career. Her transition to a peaceful life in Bali has garnered significant attention from her global fanbase.
