Actress Lee Min-jung has stirred interest by sharing the behind-the-scenes story of her breakup and subsequent reunion with her husband, Lee Byung-hun.

In a video uploaded to her YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' on the afternoon of the 9th, titled 'Lee Min-jung's Golden Spoon Story to Boys Over Flowers Casting. Everything Revealed *Lee Min-jung Life Explanation', she detailed her past relationship with Lee Byung-hun.

Lee Min-jung revealed, "I met Lee Byung-hun about a year before 'Boys Over Flowers' took off. I've talked about this a lot on broadcasts, but after dating for a year, he had to go abroad for over a year. From his perspective, he probably thought, 'She's just starting her career and is about to work hard, so if I go abroad, we'll just say goodbye.' At that moment, I thought, 'How dare he?' (laughs). I felt there was no reason to break up. I thought going abroad for a year was just an excuse, and I firmly decided we were over because breaking up without a real reason meant there was no love."

At the time, Lee Byung-hun was preparing for his Hollywood debut, making a long-distance relationship with the rapidly rising Lee Min-jung challenging. She continued, "He suddenly called me from abroad. I'd ignore his calls at odd hours because of the time difference, and reply via text the next day or not respond at all, just leaving him on read. Then, I went to award ceremonies like Baeksang and Blue Dragon to receive a rookie award. I was nominated for 'Cyrano Agency' and attended, and that's where I saw him. He gave me a nod-like greeting, and I saw it but ignored him. (laughs) After all that, we met again and got married," she recalled with a laugh.

Lee Min-jung gained significant recognition for her role as Goo Jun-pyo's fiancée in the 2009 hit drama 'Boys Over Flowers,' catapulting her to stardom. She has since consistently captivated audiences with her stable acting and charming persona in various productions, including 'My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho,' 'Take Care of Us, Captain,' 'Big,' 'Please Come Back, Mister,' and 'Once Again.' Recently, she has been actively engaging with fans through her YouTube channel, 'Lee Min-jung MJ,' showcasing a diverse range of content.
