Jo Yu-ri, a former member of the iconic girl group Fin.K.L., appeared on Channel A's 'Four-Person Table' and opened up about the group's past, including their financial settlements and the recent remake of their debut song.

Reflecting on Fin.K.L.'s active years, which spanned four years and six months starting with their 1998 debut 'Blue Rain,' Yu-ri described the period as feeling much longer due to their packed schedules and intense experiences.

She candidly discussed the group's earnings, revealing that her parents managed their finances and their agency CEO personally provided them with allowances. Yu-ri humorously recalled receiving millions of Korean won per member during overseas trips and noted the different spending habits among the members, with some being more frugal than others.

The singer also shared her motivation for remaking 'Blue Rain' after 28 years, expressing a desire to reintroduce herself as a singer to her younger fans who know her primarily from musicals. She emphasized her gratitude for Fin.K.L., a group inseparable from her life, which inspired her to re-record the beloved track.

Furthermore, Yu-ri disclosed that Lee Hyori participated in the remake of 'Feel Your Love.' She shared emotional moments of reuniting with Hyori in the recording studio, admitting it felt surreal and evoking a sense of wistfulness about the possibility of the four members reuniting. While she plans to continue remaking hit songs, with 'White' set to be released soon, she humorously confessed to not yet feeling brave enough to tackle 'My Boyfriend's Got a Secret'.

Jo Yu-ri debuted in 1998 as a member and main vocalist of the popular K-pop group Fin.K.L.

She successfully transitioned into a musical theater actress, earning critical acclaim for her lead roles in productions like 'Elizabeth,' 'Rebecca,' and 'Mata Hari.'

Currently, she actively balances her musical theater career with occasional variety show appearances and solo music releases, maintaining a strong connection with her fans.
