Singer and broadcaster Lee Ji-hye has revisited the memorable 'bikini press conference' that once stirred significant public attention.

Appearing in a preview for the SBS show 'Dolsing Fourmen', aired on the 9th, Lee Ji-hye addressed host Kim Jun-ho's remark labeling her press conference as one of the 'top three press conferences'. She explained, "I had a more developed physique, which led people to speculate about surgery. I bared my underarms at the press conference, but my body is natural."

When her pre-surgery photos were revealed, she humorously commented, "I have a deceased younger brother," drawing laughter. In July 2006, Lee Ji-hye held a press conference at the Namsan Tower Hotel swimming pool, wearing a bikini to quell persistent rumors about breast augmentation. This was an unprecedented move for a celebrity amidst ongoing speculation.

Lee Ji-hye had previously denied the rumors in an interview, stating, "I've had plastic surgery on my face, but never on my chest." However, as the controversy intensified, her agency decided on the bold measure of having her appear in a bikini before cameras to prove she had not undergone surgery.

Facing reporters early that morning, she stated, "It's an era where honest and upfront celebrities are loved," before playfully asking photographers to "take pretty pictures." She further elaborated that her father and agency CEO had inquired about surgery, prompting her to arrange the event to put the matter to rest. She also quipped about visiting saunas with fellow celebrities like Baek Z-young and Cool's Yuri.

Lee Ji-hye expressed her belief that her current styling best suits her age after a decade-long career since debuting in her late teens. She conveyed her aspiration to be loved solely for her music, vowing to showcase a transformed self through diligent effort, confident that hard work yields results.

Lee Ji-hye debuted in 1998 with the co-ed group S#arp, achieving immense popularity. After transitioning to a solo career in the early 2000s, she continued her active music career. Currently, she is beloved as a broadcaster for her candid and witty remarks on variety shows.
