The highly anticipated 28th season of the dating reality show 'I Am Solo,' featuring divorced singles, has officially launched with a bang. The latest episode, aired on the 10th, unveiled the initial impressions of the male contestants and set the stage for dramatic connections.

During the first impression selection, women viewers were drawn to the men based on their photos. Notably, when Yeong-soo appeared, Yeong-ja, Sun-ja, and Yeong-sook all gravitated towards him simultaneously. While MC Lee Yi-kyung expressed surprise, referencing a past gift from Yeong-soo to Jeong-sook, Song Hae-na accurately predicted his popularity due to his gentle demeanor.

In contrast, Yeong-ho, Yeong-sik, Gwang-soo, and Gyeong-soo received no votes. Sang-chul, however, swept up the remaining votes, clearly indicating the female contestants' preferences. Sang-chul, despite his popularity, remained pragmatic, stating that first impressions are fleeting and that divorced individuals, having experienced marriage before, know better than to base long-term decisions on initial encounters. He emphasized that choosing a life partner requires careful consideration for decades to come.

Jeong-sook revealed that she had debated between Yeong-soo and Sang-chul during the first impression choice. She expressed a hint of regret that Yeong-soo chose her, despite Sang-chul making more eye contact. Sang-chul's subsequent choice of Hyun-sook further complicated her feelings.

During the evening's drinking session, Jeong-sook seemed increasingly drawn to Yeong-soo's leadership qualities. She found his ability to lead conversations and control the atmosphere appealing, expressing excitement about someone who could take charge. However, her high spirits also led her to speak informally and quite bluntly to other contestants, including Yeong-ho, Sang-chul, and Yeong-soo, and even made a remark to Ok-soon that left her taken aback. Yeong-ho, finding Jeong-sook's energy overwhelming, shifted his attention towards Ok-soon.

The unexpected turn of events surprised Sang-chul, while Ok-soon attempted to compose herself. Ultimately, Jeong-sook requested a one-on-one conversation with Yeong-soo, and the pair embarked on an unprecedented journey by holding hands and linking arms on their very first day, signaling a potentially passionate romance.

Meanwhile, Ok-soon faced allegations of school violence and forced transfer suspicions after her appearance on the show. However, her legal representatives have vehemently denied these claims and announced their intention to pursue legal action.

A prominent South Korean actor, he gained significant recognition after his debut in the 2015 film 'The Agitators.' He has since starred in numerous hit dramas such as 'Fight for My Way,' 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim,' and 'Itaewon Class,' solidifying his status as a leading man. His recent filmography includes appearances in 'Concrete Utopia' and 'Alienoid: Return to Future,' showcasing his versatility in both television and film.
