Hanwha Eagles legends Kim Tae-kyun and ace pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin made a special appearance on KBS 2TV's 'Convenience Store Restaurant' (Pyeonstorang).

The episode, airing on the 12th, will feature Kim Tae-kyun preparing a surprise catering buffet for his junior teammates. Accompanied by Master Chef Lee Yeon-bok and MC Hyojung at the Hanwha Eagles' home stadium in Daejeon, Kim Tae-kyun took on the challenge of creating special dishes to boost the players' energy.

Despite not being a seasoned cook, Kim Tae-kyun displayed strong determination, aiming to hit a 'culinary home run.' He expertly prepared 250 servings of Chef Lee's signature dish, mentaiko bread, along with 100 portions of nourishing meals, astonishing the renowned chef. Utilizing his athlete's strength and agility, Kim Tae-kyun showcased 'power cooking,' finely chopping shrimp and skillfully handling a massive wok, earning praise such as 'You should get a job in a kitchen' and even a proposal for a business partnership.

Meanwhile, the hearty appetites of the Hanwha Eagles players, including Ryu Hyun-jin, also captured attention. Ryu Hyun-jin demonstrated a true 'world-class eating spree,' devouring enormous bites of food with incredible speed. Kim Tae-kyun also couldn't resist indulging in his own mentaiko bread, sharing a moment of laughter with his impressive appetite.
