Actor Kim Geon-woo is set to captivate audiences with a significant acting transformation in the upcoming KBS 2TV weekend mini-series, 'The Last Summer.'

The drama revolves around childhood friends who confront the hidden truths of their first love, unfolding as a remodeling romance. Kim Geon-woo will portray Seo Soo-hyuk, a lawyer specializing in appellate cases and the youngest son of the nation's top law firm, 'Seo & Ju.' Soo-hyuk, who once boasted a perfect win rate, saw it drop to 99% after his first loss in a case involving Song Ha-kyung (played by Choi Sung-eun). Intriguingly, he possesses a unique habit of organizing situations using a nine-square bingo grid, not only in court but also in his daily life.

Newly released stills showcase Kim Geon-woo seamlessly embodying Seo Soo-hyuk. His neat hairstyle and sharp suit ensemble exude a sophisticated charm, a departure from his previous intense image. The images also capture his professional demeanor as he immerses himself in court proceedings, drawing viewers' attention. Furthermore, his smiles, oscillating between seriousness and tenderness, add to the anticipation for the drama.

Having left a deep impression as Son Myeong-oh in 'The Glory,' Kim Geon-woo is expected to present a completely different persona in 'The Last Summer,' embodying the epitome of dandyism. He will play a pivotal role as Do-ha's (Lee Jae-wook) lawyer in the legal battle between Do-ha and Ha-kyung. The narrative will see Soo-hyuk entangled with Ha-kyung once again, and Kim Geon-woo is poised to delicately portray Soo-hyuk's gradual infatuation with her.

'The Last Summer' is a collaborative project helmed by director Min Yeon-hong, known for his work on 'Rooftop Prince,' and writer Jeon Yu-ri, recognized for her delicate touch in 'Kiss Sixth Sense.'

Kim Geon-woo made his acting debut in the 2017 drama 'Fight for My Way.' He has since delivered memorable performances in numerous series, including 'Live' and 'Catch the Ghost.' His portrayal of Son Myeong-oh in 'The Glory' earned him widespread acclaim.
